Supercritical Foaming Reactor Device
The supercritical foaming device uses nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and other foaming agents
such as TPU, EVA, polypropylene, polyethylene, PEB/elastomers, used for research and production of supercritical foaming of materials such as etc. Compared with chemical foaming, physical foaming has the advantages of higher foaming ratio, no residue, non flammability, non explosion, non toxicity, non corrosion, and green environmental protection. The prepared foam material has the characteristics of small cell size (less than 50μm), high cell density, uniform cell size, and better mechanical properties. Weihai Newera Chemistry and the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences have developed polyether amide block copolymer elastomer (PEBA) based on the patented technology of the Institute of Chemistry, and achieved mass production of KHX series products. The relevant technology and achievements passed the technical appraisal organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation in May 2022 (achievement registration number H2022120). Won the 24th China Patent Gold Award in 2023.

Bead foaming kettle is a device used for preparing foamed beads, mainly applied in the field of polymer material processing, especially playing an important role in the polymer foaming process.
The working principle of the bead foaming kettle mainly involves the following steps:
Raw material preparation: Place polymer particles in an autoclave, typically polypropylene (PP) or other types of polymers.
Foaming process: By introducing supercritical fluids such as carbon dioxide, these fluids can swell and diffuse into the polymer matrix under high temperature and pressure conditions.
Pressure relief foaming: Subsequently, rapid pressure relief is achieved through a pressure relief valve to achieve microporous foaming, thereby obtaining foamed beads.
The design and operation of bead foaming kettle involve multiple key factors, including:
Equipment structure: including kettle body, inner tank, mixing device, etc., to ensure uniform mixing and heating of raw materials.
Process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and pressure relief rate directly affect the quality and performance of foam beads.
Raw material selection: Different types of polymer raw materials (such as linear PP, random copolymer PP, etc.) will affect the foaming effect and the performance of the final product.
The application of bead foaming kettle is very extensive, including but not limited to:
Automotive manufacturing industry: used for producing automotive interiors, cushioning materials, etc.
Packaging and transportation industry: used for making packaging materials, providing protection and cushioning effects.
Construction engineering: used for building materials such as sound insulation and thermal insulation.
